Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful study of the discipline "Topography with the basics of geodesy". In order to master the educational practice program and acquire the skills and abilities to perform geodetic work and topographic surveying, students must have basic knowledge of geodesy, topography, physics, mathematics and know the basic principles, methods and methods of conducting geodetic work.
Course content
Field educational topographic-geodetic practice is an integral part of the educational and professional training of students of the first educational (bachelor) level of higher education, the field of knowledge 10 Natural sciences, specialty 103 Earth sciences is intended to consolidate theoretical knowledge and is aimed at mastering the methods of creating a geodetic basis of large-scale topographic shooting in conditions close to production. Educational practice should provide students with an idea of the organization, technological schemes of carrying out geodetic works in the area, technology and methods of their implementation. Practice is organized on the territory of the Boguslav educational and scientific permanent natural and hydroecological training ground. This is a basic structural division of the Faculty of Geography of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, which carries out educational and methodological activities in a number of related specialties, specializations and academic disciplines, for which the university provides licensed training of bachelors, specialists and masters and conducts scientific and research and scientific, technical and economic activities in the relevant areas and directions of basic higher education.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Theoretical lesson, individual assignment, supervision of the practice manager, consultations during the practice, discussion, current control, differentiated assessment, oral survey
Assessment methods and criteria
Students who have completed all the tasks according to the practice program, completed the practice report, appendices and topographical plan in accordance with the requirements are allowed to defend the report and credit on the last day of practice. The assessment is a summation of the work of each student during practice, determination of the level of knowledge and skills acquired by each student, and is carried out in the form of a group-individual defense of a report based on the results of practice by each student. Assessment of students' knowledge, skills and practical skills is carried out on a 100-point scale. After the internship, students submit written reports, journals of field geodetic work and observations, materials for mathematical processing of geodetic measurements, a topographic plan and other graphic materials to the supervisor of the internship. The results of the educational practice are summarized after the students have completed a differentiated assessment.
