Learning outcomes
To apply their knowledge knowledge to identify and solve problematic issues and make informed decisions in meteorology (PLO-2) Develop, manage and manage projects in meteorology and climatology, evaluate and ensure the quality of of work (PLO-4) Be able to carry out environmental assessment, audit, licensing, certification use of natural resources, forecasting the development of environmental, technological, economic and social impacts on objects of environmental management facilities, including including in connection with the impact of of atmospheric conditions and phenomena (PLO-6) To know modern methods of of meteorology research and be able to apply them in production and research research activities (PLO-7) To know the basic principles of of enterprise management spheres environmental management, their organization organization, production and organizational structure management (PIU -8)

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses Microclimatology, Global Climate Dynamics climate dynamics. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the study of the impact of weather and climate on human activity. Ability to evaluate and analyze the features and consequences of the impact of meteorological and climatic conditions on natural and and transformed components of territorial complexes. Possession of skills of processing meteorological and climatic information, methods of mathematical modeling, forecasting methods, methods of synthesis and analysis of information synthesis and analysis.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of methods, indicators and criteria that allow to provide a quantitative assessment of the impact of weather and climate on the main production processes in the fields of energy (nuclear, thermal, hydropower), agriculture (crop production, livestock), forestry, construction, transport (land, water, air), housing and utilities, as well as on the territorial structure and development of tourism and recreation. Structurally, the course consists of two content modules.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out by a module-rating system, which provides a two-level assessment of the material learned. The maximum score is 100 points, 60 of which the student can gain during the semester control and 40 points - at the exam. The content module 1 (CM1) includes 12 topics, the content module 2 (CM2) - 39 topics.
