PRN 2. Determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of substances and their mixtures. Demonstrate the use of knowledge about morphological changes of tissues and organs for the diagnosis of pathological conditions, identify erroneous results and take measures to correct them. PRN 6. Verify the results of laboratory tests in the clinic of internal medicine (norm / pathology). PRN 13. Perform quantitative and qualitative biochemical studies, interpret their results. PRN19. Identify factors human health risk 18 and the epidemiology of noncommunicable diseases.

Successful mastering of academic disciplines from all medical disciplines, both normative, in particular "Human Anatomy", "Normal Physiology", and special disciplines "Pharmacology", "Immunology", "Hepatology", etc. Ability to independently apply knowledge of basic disciplines (medical biology, medical and biological physics, bioorganic and biological chemistry, histology, cytology, embryology, virology, immunology and radiology), etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. The program of the discipline "Fundamentals of Endocrinology", which is taught in the 3rd year, provides improvement of knowledge on current issues of theory and practice of the most common diseases and syndromes found in endocrinology and related to diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, healthy lifestyle and prevention of major diseases endocrine system. The thematic plan of lectures, practical classes and independent work reveals the problematic issues of endocrinology. It is also possible to master / get acquainted with the procedures most often used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the endocrine system.
