Possess and apply knowledge and skills in general and professional training in solving specialized tasks. Analyze the results of studies of morphological and functional state of the organism and the environment, assess the significance of indicators. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, cytology, immunology, genetics and molecular biology. 3. Knowledge of the basic principles of basic laboratory research methods.
Course content
Discipline "Assessment of toxicological conditions" includes information on toxic substances of artificial and natural origin, the risk of possible poisoning and measures to prevent it, health risk assessment of the use of chemicals during laboratory tests. The subject of study of the discipline are: the laws of interaction of living organisms and poisons, the concept of poison, mechanisms of toxicity of various substances, ways of getting and converting poison in the body, modern methods, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of poisoning.
