Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline is based on the study of cytomorphology, biochemistry, biophysics, immunology and molecular biology of tumor growth, and integrates with these disciplines; lays the foundations for the study of translational medicine by students, provides for the integration of teaching with this discipline and the formation of skills to apply knowledge of clinical oncology in the process of further study and professional activities.
Course content
"Oncology with the evaluation of research results" covers the study of concepts, principles, methods, methodological approaches to basic and clinical oncology and related sciences. In the course of studying the discipline the possibility of practical application and significance of certain laboratory methods, concepts and theories in the field of science and in other spheres of social activity is given or demonstrated. Particular attention is focused on the role of basic and innovative research for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
