Learning outcomes
Present the results of research in the field of horticulture to specialists and non-specialists. Create landscaping facilities for various purposes and select a set of works for the care of plants in plantations. Organize educational and cognitive activities of students. Organize and carry out educational environmental activities among the population. Organize and plan research work in the field of horticulture, natural and cultural landscapes. Collect, process, analyze and systematize scientific and technical information on research topics, put forward and test scientific hypotheses, choose the best methods, techniques and tools of research, draw and argue conclusions based on research results.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the courses "Plant Physiology", "Plant Biochemistry", "Chemistry with the basics of agrochemistry", "Soil Science and Soil Microbiology", "Urban Ecology and Phytomelioration". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology of plants, agrochemistry, soil science, urban ecology, phytomelioration and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories.
Course content
The discipline "Adaptive strategies of plants in microclimatic spaces of landscapes" is a selective discipline, which forms a comprehensive view of: physiological processes under stress, adaptation and homeostasis of the plant organism as manifestations of adaptation syndrome in global climatic processes, the specifics of response to response greenhouse gases, "harmful ozone" and "heat islands" in urban landscapes. Understanding the concepts of specific and nonspecific reactions of plants in the formation of sustainable urban systems, the impact of global warming on the distribution of species, leveling biodiversity through the spread of adapted species, globalization of the plant kingdom.
