Prerequisites and co-requisites
Operate with the knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of the "Foreign language (English)" course at the minimum sufficient threshold level B1 according to the CEFR. The study of the discipline ends with a qualifying written exam.
Course content
The study discipline "Foreign language (English)" is a component of the cycle of mandatory disciplines for the training of specialists of the "Bachelor" educational level of the "Landscape design and greening" educational program of the first level of higher education for students of specialty 206 "Horticulture". The study discipline "Foreign language" (English) is a mandatory discipline that lays the foundations of the professional language of the future specialist with the further perspective of using the acquired knowledge in professional activities; continues to form communicative, sociocultural, pragmatic and professionally oriented communicative competence. The discipline is designed to lay the foundations of modern professional speech, to familiarize with the core of professional terminology and the rules of compiling professional documentation, to form the skills and abilities of current types of professional speech activity of future specialists in specialty 206 "Horticulture".
