To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Plant Biology", "Plant Biochemistry", "Plant Physiology", "Landscape Phytoecology", "Dendrology", "Soil Science and Soil Microbiology", "Decorative Dendrology", "Vegetation of the Globe". 2. The ability to determine the types of plant tissues, deviations in the morphology of plants, violations of physiological processes in woody, bushy and flowering plants. 3. Possession of basic skills of working with a light microscope, making temporary preparations; collection and processing of material in field and laboratory conditions.
Course content
The course examines the evolution of parasitism in microorganisms, aspects of plant-pathogen interaction, pathogen attack factors, main groups and types of diseases of trees, shrubs and flowering plants, their impact on condition, sustainability, productivity of greenery and their protective sanitary and hygienic properties. modern means and methods of protection of garden and park facilities.
