To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the scientific, theoretical and practical material of the educational discipline "Biology of plants", "Phytoecology of landscapes". 2. Knowledge of the basics of anatomy, morphology, ecology and biochemistry of higher plants within the framework of the disciplines taught in the previous period. 3. Knowledge and ability to use scientific names of plants. 4. Possession of basic skills of making anatomical sections, working with a light microscope, using keys to identify taxa of different ranks. 5. The ability to make independent decisions, participate in disputes and competently justify one's point of view. 6. Possessing the skills of independent search for information and its generalization.
Course content
Educational practice in plant biology is aimed at the student acquiring professional, special professional competences necessary for solving theoretical, experimental and applied problems in the field of horticulture. During educational practice, the student masters the methods of field work with plants of various ecological and systematic groups. The structure of the educational practice ensures the acquisition of the necessary skills and abilities to work with plants of natural flora, as well as introducers, including decorative plants growing on the territory of the practice.
