Learning outcomes
PR4. Have professional knowledge to solve problems of organization and management of horticulture. PR6. Understand and apply legislation, regulations, organizational and management documentation for the organization and management of horticulture, knowledge of economics and law to ensure efficient production activities. PR07. Have the skills to work independently and as a leader, to get results in a limited time with an emphasis on professional integrity when growing ornamental plants in open and closed soil, designing, creating and operating horticultural facilities. PR15. Organize effective and safe working conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the educational program of full secondary education in the subjects "Biology", "Labour training", "Fundamentals of jurisprudence". 2. Ability to work with literature, use information search programs. 3. Possession of elementary skills of system analysis.
Course content
The course "Occupational safety and life safety during horticultural work" forms a comprehensive system of knowledge about the organization, structure, legal framework and responsibility for occupational safety at the enterprise; the basic principles of creation and control of labor safety according to the legislation of Ukraine are considered; the basics of legal and regulatory regulation of labor protection and life safety during gardening work are considered.
