1. Analyze the main stages and patterns of historical development for the formation of civic position, national dignity and patriotism.
3. Conduct a literature search in Ukrainian and foreign languages and analyze received information.

Course content
The discipline "Introduction to University Studies" is a basic subject taught in the 1st semester of the 1st year and should form a clear understanding of the historical background and regulations of the educational process at the university. The course consists of two sections. The first section presents a brief overview of the history of university education and the history of Kyiv University. The topic of the second section is devoted to the theory and history of landscape architecture. During the studying of the discipline, students should acquire knowledge about the historical stages of development the main stylistic directions of garden and park art, world and domestic achievements in
in the field of park construction, prospects for the development of garden and park art and landscape art architecture
