PR23. Be able to use in production and social activities the fundamental concepts and categories of state formation to substantiate their own worldviews and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of socio-political history of Ukraine, legal principles and ethical norms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students must have knowledge of the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process that they received in secondary schools of I-III degrees; 2. Have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting in relation to culturological events and phenomena.
Course content
In the process of mastering this course the student will gain basic knowledge, basic knowledge of the prerequisites for the formation, genesis, main stages of development and features of foreign and Ukrainian culture; basic knowledge of the main forms of modern artistic, aesthetic and socio-cultural practices and new artistic and cultural phenomena; basic ideas about the main stages of development of world and Ukrainian art, modern scientific concepts within which they are studied, the main artistic directions and figures that determined their development; basic ideas about the history of development and functioning of Ukrainian and foreign cultural space, its genesis and current state; features of cultural systems and institutions; value-semantic and sign-communicative mechanisms that regulate the cultural practice of interaction between people and communities at each specific historical stage of development

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides a two-level assessment of mastered material, including assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.7), which is 35% of the total assessment and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6); communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1- 4.3), which is 65% of the total score. - semester assessment:
1. Oral report - EL 1.1-3.3 - 40 points / 20 points 2. Discussions - EL 1.1-3.3 - 20 points / 10 points 3. Presentation of independent work - PL 1.1-3.3 - 20 points / 10 points 4. Written control work - EL 1.1-2.3 - 10 points / 5 points 5. Individual creative work - EL 3.1-3.3 - 10 points / 5 points
