Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Molecular Biology", "Biochemistry", "Chemistry
bioorganic", "General cytology", "Histology", "Microbiology" and
"Biotechnology".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
3. The ability to independently use theoretical knowledge from the above
disciplines for solving practical problems, working with scientific ones
electronic databases, scientific literature, the ability to system
analysis
4. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment,
used in biological and biotechnological laboratories.
Course content
The educational discipline "Laboratory practicum in molecular biology" is
a component of the educational program of professional training of educational level specialists
"Bachelor", which is designed to form students' general planning skills and
production of molecular biological research, mastering of basic methods
molecular biology, analysis and interpretation of the obtained results
experiments During the laboratory practicum, students receive basic
skills of conducting laboratory research, get acquainted with the main ones
methods used to work with nucleic acids and proteins
human and other organisms, as well as the scope of their application, principles
bioinformatics analysis and work with electronic databases. Under consideration
features of nutrition and conditions of cultivation of cells and tissues of eukaryotes in vitro.
The obtained knowledge can be used in molecular biological,
pharmacological, medical research involving modern principles
cellular technologies.
