Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material academic disciplines that are taught to students at the educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of anatomy, physiology, cytology, general immunology and biochemistry. 3. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of laboratory research of state indicators immune system. 4. Possession of elementary skills in the application of immunological methods to establish disorders of the functioning of various links of the immune system. 5. Use of special literature to interpret the results, obtained during studies of immunological indicators at different diseases
Course content
The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the molecular mechanisms of different types of hypersensitivity reactions. The course is based on the classification of different types of hypersensitivity by the mechanisms of immunopathogenesis. An important place is given to the peculiarities of the implementation of immune-mediated damage to tissues and organs, cellular and mediator mechanisms of immunopathological reactions in reagin, cytotoxic, immunocomplex inflammation, as well as the development of granulomatous reactions in various pathologies. Much attention is paid to the biochemical aspects of allergic inflammation, the participation of various pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory mediators in the interaction of immune cells and the role of immune cells in regulating homeostasis, unique features of immunoregulatory mechanisms in ensuring normal functioning.
