Course content
"Biological bases of infectious processes" - a special course that provides a systemic view
on the interaction of the human body with bacteria at the molecular, cellular and
organismal levels. The concept of an infectious process is revealed in a broad way
understanding of this term, as the interaction of a macroorganism with pathogenic bacteria,
as well as with conditionally pathogenic representatives of the microbiota. It is stated in the discipline
the latest information on the interaction of a number of pathogenicity factors and metabolites
bacteria with various organs and systems of the macroorganism. An important role in such
the activity of the immune system plays a key role in the interaction, which ensures homeostasis
macroorganism.
