1. Successful completion of the courses "Biochemistry", "General cytology", "Histology", "Human and animal anatomy and physiology", "Physiology of nutrition and digestion". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, biochemistry, histology, physiology and anatomy, etc. discipline, work with scientific and methodical literature. 3. To have the skills of note-taking, systematization and assimilation of information.
Course content
Discipline "Hepatology" is a basic physiological discipline, features of anatomical and histological structure and functioning of the liver and patterns of metabolic processes in it and regulation of hepatobiliary system functions according to species specificity, as well as pathological changes in humans and animals. The course considers the mechanisms of functioning and regulation of the functions of the hepatobiliary system in accordance with species specificity and pathology of the liver and hepatobiliary system in maintaining the dynamic stability of the internal environment in humans and animals in normal and pathological conditions.
