Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor".
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of virology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cytology and histology, physiology, zoology, biophysics, etc.
3. To have basic skills of analytical evaluation of research results conducted in the fields of biology and virology to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
Course content
The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the prevention and treatment of viral infections.
The course is designed to summarize the student's understanding of the main prospects for the development and creation of active components of antiviral drugs, targets in the process of virus replication in the body, and provide insights into current trends and directions of basic research and applied research in chemotherapy for future infections.
