Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the educational disciplines "General cytology", "General histology", "Biology of individual development", "Genetics", "Biochemistry", "Immunology" "Molecular biology", "Methods of developmental biology", "General embryology". 2. The ability to independently apply embryological, cellular-molecular, genetic knowledge for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodical literature. 3. Possession of elementary skills of monitoring the development of gametes and embryos in the early stages of development.
Course content
The discipline "Reproductive Technologies" is part of the cycle of professional training of specialists at the educational level "Bachelor" in the educational program "Biology". The discipline is a basic embryological discipline that covers the methods of manipulation of germ cells, some or all stages of preparation of reproductive cells, the processes of fertilization and development of embryos carried out in vitro, before their transfer into the uterine cavity. The discipline is designed to highlight the main issues regarding the peculiarities of the basics of various embryological and cellular techniques and assisted reproductive methods; practical use of reproductive methods in various areas of human economic activity: in modern medicine and veterinary medicine, in research.
