Learning outcomes
PR05. Demonstrate assessment skills unpredictable biological problems and deliberate choice of ways to solve them PR08. Know and understand basic terms, concepts, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the border of subject areas. PR10. Know the basics of systematics, methods detection and identification of non-cellular forms life, prokaryote and eukaryote and apply them to solve specific biological ones tasks PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure, life processes and functions of the living organisms, to understand the mechanisms of regulation physiological functions for maintenance homeostasis of biological systems. PR14. Analyze the interactions of the living organisms of different phylogenetic levels kinship with each other, features of influence various factors on living organisms and evaluate their role in biosphere processes transformation of substances and energy.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material academic disciplines that are taught to students at the educational level "Bachelor": "Microbiology", "Biochemistry", "Fundamentals of ecology and protection nature". 2. Possession of basic skills of independent information search when working with scientific and scientific-methodical literature, to know it generalize. To participate in disputes and to justify competently his point of view. 3. Have elementary skills of working with materials and equipment used in a biological laboratory.
Course content
The discipline "Ecology of Microorganisms" covers issues of modern ecological areas of microbiology, analyzes the adaptive potential of microorganisms, their indicator role in assessing the environment, explains the strategies of microorganisms, patterns of development and communication interactions of their natural populations.
