PR03. Plan, execute, analyze data and present results of experimental research in the field of biology. PR06. Apply models, methods and data of physics, chemistry, ecology, mathematics in the process of education and provision professional activity. PR019. Apply methods in practical activities determination of structural and functional characteristics biological systems at different levels of organization. PR20. Argue the choice of methods, planning algorithms and conducting field, laboratory, clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software provision for research, processing and presentation of results. PR25. Solve specific applied problems of biology appropriate methods.

1. Successful mastering of the courses "Botany", "Plant Physiology", "Cytology", "General Genetics", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology". 2. Be able to work with educational and teaching literature, have basic skills in working with professional scientific literature, including English-language publications 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in the practice of biological research
Course content
The discipline is aimed at obtaining basic professional theoretical knowledge about methods that are used as routine in the practice of conducting experimental research in the field plant biology, namely: optical and electron microscopy, cultural methods, methods chromatography and electrophoresis, which are used in solving basic problems in the field chemosystematics and evaluations of physiological reactions of plants and fungi under quantitative conditions experiments, karyological analysis, as well as requirements for identification and presentation techniques quantitative indicators of experimental research results. Overview during the study disciplines, some of the latest methods of experimental research are also considered, which, however, do not belong to the category of basic routine research and require access to specialized ones laboratories with significant amounts of funding.
