PR25. Solve specific applied problems of biology appropriate methods. PR27.12. Carry out cyto- and histophenotyping.

1. Successful completion of the courses "General cytology", "Histology", "Molecular biology", "Biochemistry", "Physiology and anatomy of man and animals", "Statistical methods in biology". 2. To be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, histology, molecular biology, biochemistry, anatomy and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodical literature. 3. Have basic skills of working with materials and equipment, which are used in biological laboratories.

"Analytical and quantitative morphology" is an integral applied branch of biology, which arose at the junction of classical morphology, cytology, histology and biometrics. Morphometric analysis is the process of obtaining from cytological, histological and macropreparations quantitative and/or qualitative information. The task of analytical and quantitative morphology is as follows thus, the development and application of methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of various structures living organism (cells, subcellular structures, tissues, organs, etc.), which are used in biological morphometric studies, as well as regularities changes in morphometric parameters in different morpho-functional states of a living system under different conditions in normal and pathological conditions.
