Learning outcomes
To know: the basic principles of the language norm and
adhere to them when using a foreign language in various functional styles of oral and written speech; key concepts of a foreign language and mastering them within the framework of scientific and professional communication; know the stylistic features of professionally oriented texts; basics of written communication;
Be able to: independently work with primary sources and authentic articles of a professionally oriented nature; conduct a conversation with the active use of key thematic lexical units; communicate in writing and orally;
In the course of writing, be able to compositionally arrange and design scientific and professionally oriented texts of various genres and styles.

Successful mastering of the foreign language program for general educational institutions of Ukraine and a sufficient level of formation of foreign language communicative skills

Methods and criteria of assessment
Assessment by forms of control under the conditions of intermediate control and credit:
The maximum number of points that can be obtained during the semester is 60. The points obtained by the student during the 6th semester make up 60% of the final grade for the discipline.
Throughout the semester, the student's work is evaluated during each practical session
speaking/writing classes. During the practical session, the student has
the possibility of reaching from 0 to 2 points. The criteria for evaluating the student's work during the lesson are:
- knowledge and use of grammatical features of the language 0.5 points;
- knowledge and use of vocabulary on the topic of the lesson 0.5 points;
- performance of speaking and reading tasks 0.5 points;
- performance of writing and listening tasks 0.5 points.
Final assessment in the form of credit.
