Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes Know: theoretical and methodological foundations, functions, principles and classification of the public sector of the economy; the foundations of the theory of public welfare in a market economy, market failure and the influence of the public sector of the economy, the role of the public sector in combating inequality and poverty. To be able to: analyze the effectiveness of the state sector of the economy; determine the duties of the subjects of management of state economic entities; establish communication with various professional communities engaged in the field the state sector of the economy. autonomy and responsibility: demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for professional and/or managerial decisions or given proposals/recommendations that may affect the national economy as a whole or its individual components.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Know:the theoretical foundations of the functioning of the economy and the content of its main components; system of laws and principles of economic development; peculiarities of the development of certain industries, spheres and types of activity, their aspects; state influence on economic processes and their consequences; the system of sectoral and territorial management of the country's economy; the main problems of the economy of Ukraine and directions for their solution 2.Be able to use the acquired knowledge in the analysis of economic processes and evaluation of the economic complex of Ukraine; 3. Possess the skills of analysis, synthesis, generalization, evaluation, processing and forecasting socio-economic situation, working with the regulatory and legal framework, an array of statistical information, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment – semester evaluation (MAX – 60 points / MIN – 36 points): -Oral survey, discussion – 6 points / 4 points; 2. Modular control work (2 MKR, 5 points max. each) – 10 points / 6 points; 3. Individual analytical task (RN 3; 4) – 20 points / 12 points 4. Independent work (RN 1; 2; 3; 4) – 24 points / 14 points; - final evaluation The maximum number of points that can be received by a student is 100 points. Semester assessment: assessment is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including surveys, independent work, performance and presentation of an individual analytical task.
