Learning outcomes
To understand the essential concepts of "management", "culture" and "cross cultural management", "cross cultural communication"; features of national management models, business culture and
organizational behaviour; national structure
culture and the main factors influencing its formation; differences (parameters) of leading business cultures, the specifics of the implementation of management functions in the business cultures of different countries and their impact on competitiveness; theoretical and practical approaches to determining the sources and mechanisms for ensuring competitiveness in different socio-cultural environments; experience of managers in foreign companies; features of organization and implementation of intercultural communications.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the basics of culturology, religious studies, management and conflict studies; analyze consumer behavior taking into account the basic elements of culture; identify barriers and problems that may arise due to cultural differences.

Thematic plan of the discipline:
1. History, subject and methods of cross-cultural management
2. Models of cross-cultural management
3. Intercultural competence and cross-cultural intelligence
4. Exogenous and endogenous factors influencing the formation and development of corporate culture in the context of international characteristics
5. "Culture shock", cultural noise and strategies for overcoming intercultural conflict
6. Characteristics and features of communications in cross-cultural management
7. Communication process. Communication barriers in intercultural management
8. Fundamentals of business ethics

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: evaluation of work in practical classes and performance of independent work (abstract); students write tests. The form of final control in the discipline "Cross-Cultural Management" is a credit.
