PR.07. Determine the necessary mode of work and rest in the treatment of patients with diseases in a health care facility, at the patient's home and at the stages of medical evacuation, including in the field, on the basis of a preliminary clinical diagnosis, adhering to the relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision according to existing algorithms and standard schemes. PR.08. Determine the necessary diet for the treatment of patients with the disease (according to list 2) in a health care facility, at the patient's home and at the stages of medical evacuation, including in the field on the basis of a preliminary clinical diagnosis, adhering to the relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision according to existing algorithms and standard schemes. PR.16. Plan and implement a system of sanitary and hygienic and preventive measures for the occurrence and spread of diseases among the population.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the disciplines "History of Medicine", "Hygiene and Ecology", "Sociology and Medical Sociology", "Medical Informatics". Ability to independently apply knowledge of the history of medicine, hygiene and ecology, medical informatics, etc. academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The discipline "Social Medicine, Public Health" is part of the training cycle of specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Medicine". "Social medicine, public health" is a mandatory discipline that involves mastering: biostatistics (definition and analysis of basic biostatistical indicators and criteria based on the principles of evidence-based medicine); population health statistics based on the analysis of a set of medical indicators: demographic, morbidity, disability, physical development; organization of health care, ie the activities of the system to ensure the preservation, strengthening and restoration of public health, including health care organizations and public health systems; economic foundations of the health care system based on the study of organizational and legal principles of health care facilities in market conditions, economic analysis and methods of assessing financial and economic activities in the field of health care.
