- Develop land management documentation, cadastral documentation and land valuation documentation using computer technology, geographic information systems and digital photogrammetry, fill in the data of state land, urban and other cadastres. - Develop and make effective decisions on professional activities in the field of geodesy and land management, including in conditions of uncertainty. - Assess integrated property complexes, financial interests and other property rights, using geographic information technologies and computer software and database management systems. - Conduct analysis and evaluation of real estate markets.

In order to better master the material of the discipline, students must have knowledge and skills in the field of land relations, the concepts of land and land use as real estate, property, agricultural and environmental real estate.

The discipline allows you to gain economic, organizational and legal knowledge on the valuation of land, land and other real estate, based on scientific advances, current laws and regulations governing the management of various land use and the implementation of civil agreements with them to obtaining the desired commercial and social result. The discipline "Fundamentals of land and real estate valuation" is aimed at forming a system of special and practical skills in education for real estate valuation, necessary for the proper practical application of real estate valuation methods. An important component of this discipline is the study of methodology and methods of assessment of lands and land plots of different categories and functional purposes.

The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and involves: performing 10 practical works (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and conducting 2 written modular tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written exam.
