Learning outcomes
- Apply conceptual knowledge of natural and socio-economic sciences in performing tasks of geodesy and land management. - Perform surveys and survey, topographic and geodetic, cartographic, design and design and survey work in the performance of professional tasks in geodesy and land management. - Apply models, methods and data of physics, ecology, mathematics, geology, hydrogeology in the study of natural and social processes of formation and development of land resources and real estate as objects of evaluation.

Course content
The discipline is aimed at developing students' competencies regarding the ability to use information about the soil, the process of soil formation, information about the chemical and mineralogical composition of the soil, physical and chemical properties, methods for qualitative and quantitative research of soil composition, determining the main physical and mechanical indicators, methods of soil analysis for theoretical and practical purposes in the field of professional activity. The study of the discipline contributes to the formation of theoretical and practical skills for developing the necessary skills in students for the purpose of their application in the assimilation of other disciplines, as well as the ability of students to use them in further practical activities, which provides elements of analysis of solving problems related to pollution problems, methods of cleaning and restoring the soil for its assessment, protection and rational use.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control is carried out according to the module-rating system. During the semester, it is planned to perform 8 practical works (where students must demonstrate the quality of the acquired knowledge and solve the tasks set using the methods and means outlined by the teacher), 2 written module tests. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written-oral examination.
