Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geophysical methods. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry. 3. Have basic skills in working with a personal computer.
Course content
The program of the discipline focuses on applied geophysics, as well as the principles of construction of instruments and methods of measuring work. Approaches to solving direct and inverse problems are considered. The studied methods of qualitative and quantitative interpretation are explained by individual anomalies. Areas of application of geophysical methods on real examples are characterized. The review includes general principles of setting geophysical problems, an overview of ways to implement them and efficiency.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, laboratory work and independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes: performance of independent and abstract works (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and conducting 2 written modular tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written test
