Learning outcomes
Identification of general patterns of structure and structure of the tectonosphere, tectonic movements, deep faults, crustal folds and discontinuous structures, patterns of structure and development of the main structural elements of the lithosphere, namely continental platforms, geosynclines and epigeosynclinal orogens, ocenates concerning the structural evolution of the Earth, the periodization of tectonic processes and the evolution of magmatism, the structural evolution of continents and oceans, endogenous metallogeny and its connection with the tectonic development of the Earth.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of theoretical foundations of the structure and development of the Earth, its structural elements and geological structures.
2. Have basic skills to characterize different types of structures of the earth's crust.
Course content
The subject of the discipline is the Earth, its main structural elements (continents, oceans, transit zones (transition zones) and their components (ancient and young platforms, shields and plates, geosynclinals and zones of tectonic-magmatic activation, rifts, etc.); tectonic movements and their reflection in the modern structure of the earth's crust, deep faults, crustal folds and rupture structures of various orders.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and includes a seminar. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam.
