Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline "The latest antenna systems of radio-electronic means" is a mandatory component of the educational program and uses the results of the study of the mandatory disciplines "Higher mathematics", "General physics", "Fundamentals of the theory of circles", "Electrodynamics and propagation of radio waves" and a number of free disciplines choice.. The educational discipline "The latest antenna systems of radio-electronic means" is the basis for the mandatory component "Complex systems of information security". Prerequisites:
1. To know physical phenomena and understand the physical effects that occur during the emission of electromagnetic waves.
2. To know the physical principles of operation of microwave devices.
3. Have basic knowledge of coding and information transmission.
4. To have the skills of mathematical and computer modeling of systems and processes in radio engineering.
Course content
The educational discipline "The latest antenna systems of radio-electronic means" reveals the methods and means of building the latest antennas, which are operated in real conditions with various types of radio-electronic equipment.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent individual work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment.
The study semester has two content modules. Since the performance of laboratory work fully covers the verification of learning of the lecture material, control work is not carried out. The overall evaluation during the semesters is performed by the sum of the evaluation of the results of laboratory work, oral presentations at seminar classes, independent and homework assignments. Mandatory for admission to the exam is the completion of laboratory work in each of the modules with a total score of at least 18 points (out of 30).
The final assessment will take place in the form of an exam. The form of the exam is written and oral. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the exam. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is to obtain a total score (for the semester assessment and the exam together) of at least 60 points, while the exam grade cannot be less than 24 points.
