Learning outcomes
PRN4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant Slavic problems and suggest ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require the application of new approaches and forecasting PRN10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization 035.037 - Slavic languages ​​and literatures (translation included): the first is Croatian). Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main stages of the history of the people and the history of the Croatian state, the periodization scale history of European culture. - Be able to creatively apply the knowledge and methods of activity learned during the study academic disciplines; have initial experience in conducting scientific and methodological work, research and experimental forms of culturological activity; plan and evaluate own work. - Have basic research and management skills information; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign languages professional information sources; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations.
Course content
Generalized analytical review of the history of Croatian culture: basics theoretical foundations of culturology, principles of classification and periodization of cultural evolution, the main stages of cultural evolution, the structure of culture, the relationship of culture and universal values, the main features of the state of development of culture in various historical periods. Fundamental milestones in the history of Croatian culture, certification of the facts of development Croatian culture, the separation of their contextual motivation in the diachronic dimension.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and practical classes, independent work, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, practical ones are held classes, which are evaluated in accordance with the planned types of work. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer, additions, participation in discussions on lectures and seminars, blitz polls, tests: 25/45 points. 2. Presentation: 11/15 points. Presentations are published by students later in the last week of lectures. Final assessment: Written exam: 24/40 points. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the course of performance specified types and forms of education and obtained in the exam. Maximum distribution carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam.
