Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the material of courses in professional disciplines.
2. To be able to apply previous knowledge of professional disciplines to carry out research work on fundamental medical physics.
Course content
According to the curriculum of the specialty "Physics and Astronomy", research practice in fundamental medical physics is carried out by master's students in the 2nd semester. The duration of practice is three weeks. The student visits the practice base five days a week. A student spends 6 hours a day at the practice base. Research practice in fundamental medical physics is conducted at the Faculty of Physics of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Students are attached to the Department of Molecular Physics, which is a graduate school for students of the "Master's" OS "104 Physics and Astronomy" specialization "Medical Physics". Within the framework of the discipline "Scientific-research practice in fundamental medical physics", masters choose the direction of their future scientific research. Get acquainted with the literature and research methods in the chosen direction. Practice contributes to the formation of master's students' initial competence in conducting independent scientific work on the study of scientific sources, setting a problem and choosing research methods.
