Course content
The subject of the educational discipline "Neutron Spectroscopy of Condensed Media" includes the theory of neutron scattering, the theory of condensed media and experimental data on the properties of condensed media that can be obtained using neutron spectroscopy. The goal of studying the discipline is to obtain deep and systematic knowledge related to modern methods of neutron diagnostics of condensed environments, including medical and biological ones. The educational task of the course consists in familiarizing students with the main methods of neutron diagnostics: small-angle, quasi-elastic and inelastic neutron scattering.
