Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the features of a comprehensive country panorama of Serbia, the main stages of Serbian history
nation and state, the periodization scale of the history of European culture.
- Be able to creatively apply the knowledge and methods of activity learned during the study
academic disciplines; have initial experience in conducting scientific and methodological work,
research and experimental forms of culturological activity; plan and evaluate
own work.
- Have basic skills in research and information management;critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional
information sources; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations

Course content
Generalized analytical review of the history of Serbian culture: theoretical foundations
principles of culturology, principles of classification and periodization of cultural evolution, basic
stages of cultural evolution, the structure of culture, the relationship of culture and universal values, the main features of the state of cultural development in different historical periods. Fundamental
milestones in the history of Serbian culture, certification of the facts of the development of Serbian culture,
isolation of their contextual motivation in the diachronic dimension

Lectures and practical classes, independent work, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, seminars are held
classes, which are evaluated in accordance with the planned types of work.
Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer, additions, participation in discussions on
lectures and seminars, blitz polls, current test: 25/45 points. 2. Control test: 11/15
points.
Final assessment: Written exam: 24/40 points.
The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the course of performance
specified types and forms of education and obtained in the exam. The maximum distribution is carried out
according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam
