1. Successful mastering of the basic school level of mathematics, physics and biology. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge from the school course of physics, mathematics, human physiology, etc. academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of comparative and organoleptic analysis, as well as systems analysis.

This course develops ideas about fundamental physical concepts, laws and phenomena aimed at understanding the biophysical processes that take place in the human body, which is a necessary condition for the rational creation and use of biomedical equipment based on physical phenomena of various natures. Along with the material on physics and biophysics, students are taught elements of probability theory and mathematical statistics, issues of medical metrology and electronics, the basics of photomedicine, dosimetry, and others. Special attention is paid to the issue of physical methods of diagnosis and treatment.
