3. To create logically and structurally organized texts on cultural studies, according to the specialization.
5. To collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events, historical and cultural processes.
6. To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies.
10. To recognize and classify different types of cultural products, to determine their qualitative characteristics based on comprehensive analysis.
13. To present knowledge about culture according to the specialization of representatives of various professional groups and students.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the development of scientific and technical progress; stages and specifics of the development of information and media technologies; basic concepts and categories in the field of science and technology; modern media theories and methods of scientific research in the field of the latest technologies.
2. To be able to collect and interpret information regarding the development of modern information and media technologies; practically apply the acquired theoretical knowledge regarding media theories; to forecast the prospects for the development of information and media technologies, to navigate the main historical stages of the information development of society.
3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding information and media technologies in culture
