Learning outcomes
1.To provide emergency medical care, in all circumstances, in accordance with the relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision, on the basis of the main clinical syndrome (severity of the condition) of the diagnosis of the urgent state in the limited time in accordance with the determined tactics using standard schemes 2. Perform medical manipulations in a hospital setting, at home or at work on the basis of a previous clinical diagnosis and / or patient status indicators, by making an informed decision, in accordance with relevant ethical and legal standards. 3. Manage emergency medical care for a limited time, using standard regimens, under any circumstances on the basis of an emergency diagnosis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Successful mastering of the fundamental disciplines. 2. The ability to independently apply knowledge of human physiology and anatomy, histology of cytology and embryology, medical biology,«Pathophysiology», «Pharmacology», «Propedeutics of internal medicine», «Propedeutics of pediatrics» and «General surgery» and other educational disciplines for the solution of specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Owning elementary skills of system analysis.
Course content
The subject of the discipline "Actual problems of gastroenterology" covers the study of concepts, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, principles, research methods, methodological approaches in gastroenterology. During the study of the discipline is given or demonstrated the practical application and importance of methods of diagnosis and treatment, syndromes and symptoms in the clinic of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The study of the discipline takes place in two logical stages -mastering the basic methods of physical, instrumental and laboratory examination of the patient, after which students master the basic symptoms and syndromes of the most common gastrointestinal diseases and the rules of diagnosis.
