Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students who have completed all the requirements of the curriculum are allowed to take the comprehensive final examination.
Course content
The structure of the examination card:
1. Consecutive interpretation of a short presentation from German into Ukrainian with the interpretation of the opening remarks from Ukrainian into German.
2. Written translation of a German social and political text into Ukrainian (text length: 800-900 characters).
3. Conversation on a given situation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The examination is held in one day. 45 minutes are allocated for written translation. Consecutive interpretation and conversation on a given topic are performed by a student without prior preparation. Students are allowed to use dictionaries during the translation preparation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is conducted on both a national (5-point) and a 100-point scale. Each exam task is graded with a maximum of 25 points. The assessment criteria for each exam task are provided in the comprehensive final exam program.
