Learning outcomes
1. Determine and identify the leading clinical symptoms and syndromes (inlist 1); bystandard methods, using the preliminary data of the patient's anamnesis, the data of the patient's examination, knowledge about the person,his / herorgans and systems, to establish the most probable nosological or syndromic preliminary clinical diagnosis of the disease (inlist 2). 2. Assign and analyse additional (mandatory and optional) examination methods (laboratory, radiological, functional and / or instrumental) onlist 4, patients with organ and systemicdiseasesfor differential diagnosis of diseases (list 2). 3. Establish a definitiveclinical diagnosis by making an informed decision and logical analysis of thereceivedsubjective and objective data of clinical, additional examination, conducting differential diagnostics, in accordance withthe relevant ethical and legal norms, under supervision of the doctor-supervisor in the conditions of medical institution (list 2).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of fundamental academic disciplines. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of medical biology, medical and biological physics, medical informatics, medical chemistry, biological and bioorganic chemistry, human anatomy, histology, cytology and embryology, physiology, microbiology, virology and immunology, life safety; basics of bioethics and biosafety, pathomorphology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, propaedeutics of internal medicine, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
Academic discipline "Evidence-Based Medicine" teaches students to be aware of the most effective and safe methods of diagnosis and treatment, make decisions based on the best current evidence-based data, to provide the most effective and objective decision-makingin the treatment of the patient. The aim is to form students' scientific knowledge of evidence-based medicine, as well as to acquire practical skills and abilities that are necessary in professional medical activities, which must be mastered by a doctor.The discipline "Evidence-Based Medicine" follows from the goals of the educational-professional training program for graduates of medical institution of higher education
