PLO1. Articulate, analyze and synthesize solutions of scientific and practical problems. PLO2. Propose, justify and make effective decisions on the development of socio-economic systems and management of economic entities. PLO9. Make effective decisions under conditions of uncertainty and challenges that require the use of new approaches, methods, and tools of socio-economic research. PLO11. Identify and critically assess the state and trends of socio-economic development, form and analyze models of economic systems and processes. PLO14. Develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems. PLO18. Articulate new hypotheses and scientific problems in economics, and propose appropriate approaches and methods to test them.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the content of basic economic disciplines, in particular: "Economic theory", "History of economic thought", "Microeconomics", "Macroeconomics", "Enterprise economics", "Entrepreneurship basics". 2. Master the main general scientific and specific methods of economic research, modern economic terminology, and public speaking skills. 3. To be able to think analytically, creatively apply knowledge of economic laws in the process of solving theoretical and applied problems of economic development of society, to prepare presentations in PP.
Course content
Current problems of economic theory and economic policy provide for the use of philosophical and methodological foundations of modern economic science to study the current state and prospects of economic development, economic theory and economic policy. Presentation of the main topics reflects the positive and normative aspects of economic science, is carried out taking into account the main trends and challenges of the modern world economic development and the peculiarities of the economy of Ukraine. Reveals the latest paradigmatic approaches of economic theory, multi-vector modern economic policy, deeply analyzes the actual problems of economic development and economic policy of Ukraine. The course discipline "Actual problems of economic theory and economic policy" has the following structure: Substantive part 1 "Economic theory and economic policy: conceptual and methodological foundations of the formation, development and interaction". Content part 2 "Actual problems of economic development and economic policy in modern conditions".
