Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 15. To carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of various styles and genres. PLO 22. To carry out a complex interdisciplinary analysis of a folklore product. PLO 23. To characterize the semantics and pragmatics of rituals and ceremonial complexes. PLO 25.1 Apply knowledge of the mechanisms of emergence and development of the phenomena of the traditional cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people in practical activities (specialization "Applied Folkloristics").

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the study of this discipline, students must: - to know Ukrainian folklore, the theory of folklore, the history of folkloristics; - be able to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, work with the respondent; - to have elementary skills of expedition work.
Course content
The educational discipline "Editing professional publications" aims to give folklorist students the skills of editorial work with folk and folkloristic texts.

Methods: lecture, practical session, independent work Activities: answer in the practical session, presentation, control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The form of the final evaluation is the credit. During the semester, evaluation is carried out according to the types of works and the form of the counter. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60 - receive - "enrolled". Correspondence scale of final scores: "Enrolled" - 60-100 "Not counted" - 0-59
