Programme learning outcomes
- Use conceptual and specialized knowledge and understanding of current problems and achievements of selected areas of modern theoretical and experimental physics or astronomy to solve complex tasks and practical problems. - Analyze and summarize scientific results from the selected area of physics or astronomy, monitor the latest achievements in this area, communicating with colleagues in a mutually beneficial way. - Apply theories, principles and methods of physics or astronomy to solve complex interdisciplinary scientific and applied problems - Create physical, mathematical and computer models of natural objects and phenomena, check their adequacy, investigate them to obtain new conclusions and deepen understanding of nature, analyze limitations - Plan scientific research taking into account goals and limitations, choose effective research methods, draw substantiated conclusions based on the results of the research. - Know and understand the physical foundations of the functioning of optical devices and systems - Be able to plan and conduct experimental research on the structural, optical and electrophysical properties of organic (including biological and nanoobjects) and inorganic media.
