Attestation of higher education seekers is carried out in the form of public defense of bachelor's degree and comprehensive exam in "Telecommunications and Radio Engineering" and ends with the issuance of a standard document on awarding them a degree of higher education with a bachelor's degree: Bachelor of Telecommunications.
Programme learning outcomes
1. Analyze, argue, make decisions when solving specialized tasks and practical problems of telecommunications and radio engineering, which are characterized by complexity and incomplete determination of conditions; 2. Apply the results of personal search and analysis of information to solve qualitative and quantitative problems of a similar nature in information and communication networks, telecommunications and radio engineering systems, including to ensure information security; 3. Determine and apply in professional activity the methods of testing information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems for compliance with the requirements of domestic and international normative documents and information security requirements; 4. Explain the results obtained as a result of measurements in terms of their significance and relate them to the relevant theory; 5. Have the skills of evaluation, interpretation and synthesis of information and data; 6. Adapt to changing technologies of information and communication networks, telecommunications and radio engineering systems; 7. Competently use the terminology of the field of telecommunications and radio engineering; 8. Describe the principles and procedures used in telecommunication systems, information and telecommunication networks and radio technology; 9. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of methods of designing information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems; 10. Communicate on professional matters, including oral and written communication in the national language and one of the common European languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); 11. Apply interpersonal skills to interact with other people and involve them in teamwork; 12.Tolerantly perceive and apply ethical norms of behavior in relation to other people; 13. Apply fundamental and applied sciences to analyze and develop processes occurring in telecommunication and radio engineering systems, including to ensure information security; 14. Apply understanding of the main properties of the component base to ensure the quality and reliability of the functioning of telecommunications, radio engineering systems and devices; 15. Apply understanding of the means of automating design and technical operation of telecommunications and radio engineering systems in professional activities; 16. Apply understanding of the basics of metrology and standardization in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering in professional activities; 17. Understand and comply with domestic and international normative documents on issues of development, implementation and technical operation of information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems; 18. Find, evaluate and use information from various sources, necessary for solving professional tasks, including reproduction of information through electronic search; 19. Carry out standard tests of information and communication networks, telecommunications and radio technical systems for compliance with the requirements of domestic and international normative documents; 20. Explain the principles of construction and operation of hardware and software complexes of control and maintenance systems for the development, analysis and operation of information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems; 21. Ensure reliable and high-quality operation of information and communication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems; 22. Monitor the technical condition of information and communication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems during their technical operation in order to identify deterioration in the quality of functioning, vulnerability of information security or failures, and its systematic fixation through documentation.
