Learning outcomes
PRN 1. Communicate freely on professional issues in national and foreign languages orally and in writing, use languages for effective intercultural communication. PRN 2. Effectively work with information from various sources, critically analyze, interpret, classify, and systematize it in order to solve religious problems. PRN 8. Critically evaluate and analyze information from various sources on religious issues. PRN 13. Analyze religious texts using knowledge of one of the ancient languages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students must meet the general requirements for knowledge and skills that are required for studying in higher education institutions. Be able to collect and interpret information about religious phenomena; use information and communication technologies. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding religious events and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Religious texts" is taught in the 6th semester of the bachelor's degree. The educational discipline introduces students to religious texts of various religions traditions Sacred texts within religious traditions, their history of formation and content are considered.
