PRN 5. To know and apply in professional activity the basic concepts, theories and methods of religious studies. PRN 10. Analyze the place of religious studies in the system of humanitarian knowledge and the social role of the religious scholar. PRN 12. To present one's own point of view in open discussions on religious issues.

1. Know the peculiarities of the presentation of the main topics of the discipline 2. To be able to explain possible solutions to issues of the philosophy of religion and navigate in primary sources 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and critical analysis of sources; the use of foreign language professional informative sources on the subject of philosophy of religion.

The discipline "Philosophy of Religion" is a mandatory discipline for the specialty "Religious Studies", which is read in the first semester of the III year of the bachelor's degree. In terms of content, it represents the rationalization of such correlates of the extraterrestrial as religion, faith, the afterlife, and God (divine). Accordingly, familiarization with the ideas and basic concepts of this course will contribute to a more in-depth, more qualitative understanding by students of the problems related to the topic of the philosophical understanding of religion.
