Learning outcomes
Acquaintance of students with the history of formation and modern understanding of attribution and examination of monuments; to know the selection criteria and the application of a differentiated approach to different types of monuments depending on the material, technical-technological features of manufacturing and decoration; to be able to apply basic methods of scientific description and analysis of various types of monuments of history and culture: clothes, works of art, weapons, ceramics, visual and written monuments, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the classification of objects of material and spiritual cultural heritage. 2. To be able to carry out a comparative analysis of works of art, monuments of history and culture. 3. To have the skills to criticize historical sources, cultural and artistic events and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Fundamentals of expertise and attribution of cultural heritage" is designed to acquaint students with a BA bachelor's degree with the main types of expertise of monuments, current problems of cultural evaluation of cultural heritage in general, strategies and tactics of the expert community, ideas of social responsibility of the expert. The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, practical classes, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (СМ1) includes topics 1-5 and content module 2 (СМ2) - topics 6-11.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentation • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
