Prerequisites and co-requisites
- knowledge of the theoretical foundations of finance, statistics, banking, financial management, analysis of business processes in the financial sector, financial services market, risk management of financial markets and institutions; - be able to assess, analyze the causes and consequences of changes in the financial market, taking into account various uncertain situations; - Possession of basic skills of mathematical modeling, forecasting, methods of economic analysis, work in Excel.
Course content
This discipline is devoted to the study of theoretical and methodological principles of the modern direction of marketing research related to the study of best practices of other financial institutions – benchmarking. The course is built using modern Western and domestic financial literature. The course reveals the main issues regarding the essence of benchmarking and its main types, as well as practical aspects of the organization of benchmarking research of financial markets and institutions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline is the consistent formation of the future specialists of the basic set of interrelated competencies and the system of knowledge of the basic principles of the theory and practice of benchmarking of financial markets and institutions.
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment is formed by a modular-rating system, which provides a two-level assessment of the mastered material, in particular the assessment of theoretical training (40%) includes: oral reports, surveys, testing and evaluation of practical training (60%) – analytical and calculation work, presentations. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student while mastering of material on all subjects of semantic modules, performance of all specified works.
