Course content
The course highlights the morphofunctional characteristics and basic properties of stem cells.
An important place is given to the basic idea of the mechanisms of stem cell differentiation in a multicellular organism. Discipline highlights
features of regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and cell death at different stages of ontogenesis, as well as the properties of embryonic
stem cells, fetal stem cells and adult stem cells.
The course shows the possibilities of applying knowledge about the properties of stem cells and possible options for their differentiation to solve practical problems of biology and medicine.
