Learning outcomes
1.1. To know the results of modern sociological studies of key social problems 1.2. To know the system of basic sociological indicators for the study of social problems of modern societies 2.1. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know English at the VI level (intermediate level), theoretical foundations of sociology, modern sociological research projects, sociological approach to the analysis of social phenomena, terminology, conceptual base and foundations of modern sociological theory and research. 2. Be able to work with sociological data, read professional sociological publications and formulate ideas in English. 3. To have elementary skills of searching and selecting relevant information in English, using methodologies and conceptual bases of sociological analysis; to discuss, present and discuss one's own position on a chosen topical issue.

Measurement of social inequality and social quality: international and national indicators 4. Social indicators: Index of human development. Measuring health, wealth and education 5. Social indicators: gender inequality. Gender Gap and Gender Equality Indices 6. Social Indicators: Measuring Cultural Change Using Value Maps and World Value Surveys Final work
