Learning outcomes
The student must have the basic concepts of kinematics, the basics of the dynamics of a material point and a solid body, the basics of the special theory of relativity; basic laws of electricity and magnetism; basic laws of geometric optics; quantum properties of electromagnetic radiation; features of the description of the wave behavior of micro-objects.
The student must be able to use the basic concepts of kinematics and the basics of dynamics, conservation laws when solving problems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Complete high school education and scores from external examinations, sufficient for admission to Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, majoring in Computer Engineering.
Course content
The discipline program includes the main sections of the general physics course, such as "Mechanics", "Oscillations and waves", "Electricity and magnetism", "Wave optics", "Atomic physics", "Elements of statistical physics", "Physics of the nucleus and elementary particles".
